Pricing before payment
First understand the price. Then decide how you want to pay for it.
We publish planning prices openly — before any monthly-payment conversation. We will not hide the project price behind a monthly payment.
Flexible Payments
Financing without the traditional dealer-fee model.
Precision connects homeowners with Hearth's network of independent lending partners. You can review personalized payment options while the loan relationship remains directly between you and the lender. Precision does not act as the lender, collect your loan payments, or add a per-project dealer fee to your Precision price.
Checking available options begins with a soft credit inquiry and does not affect your credit score. Finalizing an accepted offer may involve a hard credit inquiry.
The part homeowners rarely see
How traditional contractor financing can affect project pricing.
Some contractor financing programs charge the contractor a percentage of each financed transaction. This is commonly called a dealer fee. When a lender charges a dealer fee, the contractor may receive less than the full financed project amount even though the homeowner finances the full contract price.
The contractor must then decide whether to absorb that cost, reduce its margin, add a separate financing adjustment, or account for financing costs within its broader pricing structure. Dealer fees create a real project cost that may ultimately be reflected in the contractor's pricing, margin, or financing structure.

Two ways to finance a project.
Traditional contractor-controlled financing
- • Often centered on one lender or program
- • Contractor may incur a percentage-based dealer fee
- • Financing cost may affect project pricing
- • Contractor may receive funds after deductions
- • Promotional rate may obscure the total project structure
Precision's direct-to-lender approach
- • Multi-lender marketplace via Hearth
- • No Hearth per-project dealer fee deducted from Precision
- • Loan is between the homeowner and selected lender
- • Precision is not responsible for credit decisions
- • Review the offer before choosing whether to proceed
- • Project scope stays separate from the loan agreement
FAQ
Financing questions.
Is Precision the lender?
No. Precision does not make credit decisions or issue the loan. Financing is offered through independent lending partners accessed through Hearth.
Will checking my options affect my credit?
Initial prequalification uses a soft inquiry. Accepting and finalizing an offer may involve a hard inquiry from the selected lender.
Does checking options obligate me to finance?
No. Reviewing available options does not require the homeowner to select an offer or enter a project agreement with Precision.
Does “no dealer fee” mean the loan is free?
No. It means Hearth does not deduct a per-project dealer fee from Precision. Interest rates, APR, origination fees, lender fees, and other terms depend on the particular offer.
Does Precision determine my rate?
No. Rates and eligibility are determined by the lending partners based on their criteria and the applicant's qualifications.
Can financing be used for different project types?
Available funds may generally be used for qualifying home-improvement work, subject to the selected lender's terms.
How quickly can funds arrive?
Approved funding may occur quickly, sometimes as soon as 24 hours, but timing is not guaranteed and varies by lender and applicant.

Review your options.
Checking options is quick, uses a soft credit inquiry, and does not commit you to a Precision project.
Precision Scheduling is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing options are provided by independent lending partners through Hearth. Rates, APRs, amounts, terms, eligibility, fees, and funding times vary. Prequalification does not constitute approval or a commitment to lend. Review the lender's disclosures before accepting any offer.
